Hello All. It has already been a busy week. Last week we went to Clarkston, where the refugee children are, and Piedmont Park. While we were at Piedmont on Thursday we walked around and prayed for people. There were some amazing conversations that took place in the group. Also as we prayed and walked we had a better understanding of how to pray for the city of Atlanta.
So as we were praying these are the things that God spoke to us.
1. God wants to purify this city.
-We saw a pure white duck sitting in the middle of a filthy lake. This visual is a representation of how we have prayed God will work in this city. We pray that God would give us vision to see purity in the midst of filth. We also pray that God will give us wisdom in how to dig in the filth and do His will in the midst of it all.
2. God wants to make give this city a new beginning.
-We prayed that God would turn the evil into His good. We prayed that His purposes would present themselves and that God would start a new and fresh work in this city.
This week we will be talking about the Father Heart of God. It has been amazing to learn about the heart of God and to just begin to gain some insight into how much he really loves to LOVE.
Tomorrow we go to Clarkston and on Thursday we will be going downtown. Pray that God would continue to open the doors and put the right people at the right place at the right time. Pray for continued provision and protection for the team.
Thank you so much for your support.
