Week 4

Hello once again my friends,


This week we are studying the nature and character of God. It has been very interesting. I am already feeling God wanting to move in my life. He is wanting to change the way I think about Him. Every week we will be going out on Wednesday to help with the refugee children, another group goes to a retirement home and helps with amnesia patients. Also, on Thursday we do local outreach downtown so be in prayer for those times in particular.


Monday we went to class to begin our study of God's nature and the speaker began, but in the middle of his opening comments he asked us to just stop what we were doing and write a Psalm to God. We were to be completely honest with Him about our struggles and then remember as David did the wonder of how he always provides. Finally, we were to talk about how we were going to take action because of this knowledge. Anyways, the reason I write this is to encourage you all to do the same and to share it with someone that you feel is trustworthy. It revealed a ton of things in my life that needed to be broken off and opened the door for others to do the same.


This week I ask that you pray that we would have the mind of God in whatever we do. Pray that God would continue to bless us with His spirit of unity. Pray that God would protect us from harm. (I've hurt myself five times now and another person on the team hurt themselves).
