PRAY

So last night at about 11 o'clock I heard a gurgling sound. I called to my roomate Sarah inquiring if that is the sound we were supposed to look out for. She tried to not hear it, but after a couple minutes we both ended up in the bathroom. We stared into the toilet and saw bubbles coming up. It was the sound we had been expecting to hear for a long time and the same sound we had been praying to not ever have to deal with. The gurgling we heard was the beginning sign of the sceptic system backing up into the house. We prayed and tried to imagine that it was actually God clearing out the system. Unfortunately, this morning she and I called the person in charge and found that we had to shut down the water for the entire house.
Presently, we have to cook, shower, use the bathroom, and wash our hands in another house entirely. NO water is allowed to be used. We do not have enough finances to do much about the problem and it is putting our base director under an enourmous amount of pressure. She has already been struggling to deal with the troubles of monthly payments and taxes and all sorts of things so this is an added stress that she does not need to bear. Please be in prayer for the base where I am living. These conditions are not condusive to having students and many students will be coming back in about a week. Also, we know God has been saying he will release the finances to the base, but we have yet to see it. He is faithful and we are waiting on Him Please, please, please pray.
