Friends,
This week was amazing! The topic this week was Destiny. Wick Nease was the speaker; He is the founder of “Streams of Mercy”. “Streams of Mercy” is a foundation that connects support to orphanages around the world. The stories he told have really helped me learn that God is trustworthy and that he will take care of me. We had a time of ministry on Thursday because he was leaving on Friday morning. During this time he prayed over us and just took the time to speak blessing into our lives. We also prayed into each other’s lives and spoke blessings into each other’s lives.

We had a team from Texas stay with us this week and help restore our base. They did a ton of work on the property. We had fences that were falling apart, tools that were broken, dead trees that needed to be cut down, gardens to weed, fences to paint, and holes in the ceilings to mend. There was so much done I feel like I find new things each time I step outside. The team came bought all new supplies, feed us AND themselves, and worked every hour of daylight that could be spared. They also come with us to Clarkston.
We showed up to Clarkston with a bunch of toys that the team from Texas bought and despite the kids being out of school we went expecting to find someone to share Christ’s love with. When we arrived there was no one there so we went searching for them. By the time it was time to leave we had finished simultaneous games of baseball, football, and soccer. We had people jump-roping, playing duck-duck-goose (or something like that), and just playing on a play ground nearby with the students from the Texas team and us. While we were playing one of our group was able to share Christ’s love with a Muslim woman whose children were out playing with us.
This week we did not go downtown to do prayer stations. Instead we spent time with the group from Texas and helped them finish their projects that they needed to complete. This group was such a blessing it is hard to describe just how much they were able to complete. It would honestly have taken us the entire school to complete one of the multitudes of jobs that they did.
Prayer Points:
- Team unity
- Wisdom in our conversations with others.
- Clarkston, for opportunities to share Christ with students and their parents.
- The outreach on Thursday, for people’s hearts to be opened and ready for what God has for them.
- For us as we prepare to go on outreach.
- Financial provision for myself and the other team members who need support for the outreach.
- Direction for the outreach and for us as we decide where God is leading us.
Aimee
