Friends and Family,
Thank you for your continued support and prayers. I've talked with some of you through out the week and it is such a comfort to talk with you all and know that I am being prayed for. Wednesday we went downtown by the Mosque down there and learned about how to best reach the Muslim world. We learned to separate the culture of Islam from the religion and how best to guide them to be "Messianic Muslims" so to speak. We also have learned about Faith and Finance and how God provides for us no matter what the situation because He is God and He keeps his word to us, but he does expect us to be faithful to Him. Some of the stories we have heard have been absolutely amazing. God is truly our provider of our every need. Finally, we learned about group intercessory prayer and have been practicing it through out the week. So expect some changes to take place. Tomorrow, we are going to tour Downtown and learn the Christian History of Atlanta.
Continue to pray that God will unite us and break away our insecurities and selfishness so that His will and His name will be made known. We are just finishing up the introductory portion and will be going to Midtown Community Church on a weekly basis. I have pretty well decided to go to help with the refugee children unless God directs me otherwise. Also, please go ahead and begin to pray for East Asia and Chicago. Pray that God would begin the work now and that he would prepare divine appointments. Finally, pray for Saturday. We are going downtown to an event by "Invisible Children". These are children who are living in Uganda and the surrounding countries who are being kidnapped and forced to fight in the army of a man named Joseph Kony. He kills them and mutilates them if they do not join his forces. We are standing on their behalf this weekend just pray that gives us the strength to do it and the wisdom in our actions.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you all. Thank you so very much for your support. May God bless you richly.
Aimee
P.S. Pictures will come I promise, they just may take a little while.
