This present moment...

So right now I am sitting in the Cafe la Mosaique and there are about 30-40 people in here. It is crazy! A couple is playing scrabble, several are working on their computers, and about twenty people are sitting around looking at pictures, scrapbooks, art that they have done and socializing. It is beautiful. The visionaries for the cafe had this type of community in mind when they started the cafe. They wanted it to be a place for people to come have good food, good coffee and enjoy each others company. It is run mainly by volunteers and the two who started the cafe. The purpose is to provide a place for people to enjoy each others company and live out God's love to others. They do not preach to the people that come in, but when asked about why they are doing this or what the cafe is about they are not ashamed of the fact that they are living out church. Anyone can volunteer they just are not allowed to talk against Christ or their Eco-friendly beliefs. They are willing to be a listening ear to those who need it.

I am not able to help too much here because there are so many volunteers. Right now is the second time I have been in the cafe. I am hoping that I will soon be able to meet a couple people that will help me better understand what it is I am here for. There are two missionary couples that the people here want me to meet. One is from Western Canada and one is from Missouri. So hopefully, I will have more places to help after I have talked with them. If not I will be prayer walking around Quebec City and Levis and asking God to direct my steps. Please keep me in your prayers. I'm missing home, but I know this is where I am supposed to be.
